It’s been quite awhile since our last posting and boy have things changed! As you can imagine there has been substantial growth in the belly / baby arena. All is good in that department.

Thanksgiving weekend was spent in North Sydeny with the family. We got to stay at Dawn’s new house and be entertained by her new chocolate lab puppy “Keyser”. In addition to the usual Turkey and Johnston – Jamboree-ing that one would expect to take place on a holiday weekend, my Mom and sister hosted a lovely baby shower for us.

On Sunday, October 12th our darling Happy Feet was grossly spoiled rotten again! In true Cape Breton fashion all the ladies in my life piled into the Northside Pensioners club (arranged by my Nanny for our festivities- Thanks Nanny!) for an afternoon of Bingo, sandwiches, sweets and of course Tea! Everyone was so generous! It is incredible how well outfitted we are already for this little one before he / she is even here! It was great! Dawn did a super job of greeting everyone and keeping the afternoon moving along. Mom was an excellent host and I got to waddle my way through the crowd for lots of hugs and a few good chats. It was a perfect afternoon. Thanks a million everyone- we greatly appreciate your kindness and look forward to introducing you to Baby Mac.
